1. Nature of Services and Scope of Practice
Flourish Onward provides educational and health behaviour coaching rooted in behavioural psychology, psychological flexibility, and eating competence.
Coaching is not medical care, psychotherapy, or medical nutrition therapy. Angela Tam and Flourish Onward do not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any medical conditions, clinical eating disorders, or psychiatric illnesses. Working with Flourish Onward does not establish a doctor-patient, dietitian-patient, or psychologist-patient relationship.
You should never disregard, avoid, or delay obtaining medical advice from your physician or licensed healthcare provider because of information found on this website or discussed during coaching sessions. If you suspect you have a medical or psychiatric emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
2. Personal Responsibility and Autonomy
All coaching decisions, lifestyle changes, dietary habits, and physical activities you choose to explore are undertaken voluntarily and at your own risk. You remain solely responsible for your choices, actions, and physical and psychological well-being.
3. Intellectual Property
All original content, written essays, graphics, layouts, frameworks, and materials on flourishonward.com are the exclusive intellectual property of Flourish Onward and Angela Tam. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or republish any written or visual material without prior written permission.
4. Fees, Scheduling, and Cancellations
Details regarding coaching packages, agreements, schedules, and investment tiers are specified in your individual client coaching agreement upon acceptance. Inquiries submitted via application forms do not obligate Flourish Onward to accept an applicant.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law in Ontario, Canada, Flourish Onward shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of this website, information contained herein, or coaching services provided.
6. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
